There is a medal being issued by the Republic of Korea for veterans
who served during the Korean War.
The deadline for applying for the medal is September 23, 2014. That is
a very short window of time.
Attached is a request for the medal that needs to printed out, signed
and mailed to the Foreign Consulate in Houston, Texas (address is on the form.)
If you, or anyone you know, served in Korea from June, 1950 through
July, 1953, please see that they are aware of the medal.
The application also applies to kinfolk of the veteran.
