NJ Run for the Fallen – 2014

In an apolitical reflection of remembrance a team of 28 active duty members of the military from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and other locations across the US will embark on a 182+ mile journey to Honor & Remember our NJ Fallen Heroes.
Each mile is dedicated to an individual NJ Hero and their family, and the run team will stop at each Hero Marker (each mile) to present a flag and personalized biographical card to waiting family members, friends and comrades with the goal of creating a 182+ mile memorial trail through New Jersey.
Friday September 26, 8:45AM, the team will leave Cape May Lighthouse and run through Cape May Point-Lower Township-City of Cape May-Wildwood-Stone Harbor-Avalon-Sea Isle City and finishing in Ocean City at 5:00PM at AL Post 524.
Saturday September 27, 6:15AM, Somers Point-Linwood-Northfield-Pleasantville-Absecon-Galloway-New Gretna-Little Egg Harbor-Tuckerton-Eagleswood-Manahawkin-Barnegat-Lacey-Forked River-Bayville-Lanoka Harbor-Beachwood and finishing in Toms River at 6:30PM at AL Post 129.
Sunday September 28, 6:45AM, Brick-Point Pleasant-Brielle-Manasquan-Sea Girt-Spring Lake-Belmar-Bradley Beach-Asbury Park-Deal-Oakhurst-Long Branch-Oceanport-Little Silver-Shrewsbury-Tinton Falls-Middletown-Holmdel and finishing at The NJ Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial at 4:30PM.
