The officers of the Burlington County Detachment have been looking into the possibility of a bus day trip to the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico, VA. It looks like we could do it for roughly $40.00 to $50.00 per person, all in.
We can accommodate up to 54 people, per bus. In addition to the museum we can get a quick history and tour of the Marine Corps base, plus a mess hall dinner. Dinner would be approximately $5.00 per person.
Monday, September 18th is the date we are shooting for. We would leave our rally point at approximately 0700 and return no later than 2200. There is a MCL Detachment (Mickey Finn) right off base that does a great spaghetti dinner, if we prefer to pass on the mess hall and they can accommodate our schedule.
Any monies left over will go to our scholarship fund.
