A friendly reminder that nominations for the following awards are quickly approaching. It is imperative that Detachment Commandants take the initiative and nominate your deserving Leaguers for recognition. Please do your part and get those nominations in before the deadlines.
Department Marine of the Year – May 31st and must be submitted to me via certified mail.
Department Associate Member of the Year – May 31st and must be submitted to me via certified mail. The criteria and process for this award is the same as for MOY, except the nominee must be an ASSOCIATE MEMBER.
Murray J. Sklar Role Model Award – Must be submitted to me no later than May 20th via U.S. Regular Mail.
Recruiters of the Year Award – Must be submitted to Dept Jr Vice Cmdt Chris Soldano either by regular mail or email no later than May 20th. Submission form is part of the attached award packet.
Newsletter Competition – Materials must be submitted to Sr Vice Cmdt Mike Waluk no later than May 13th via U.S. regular mail or email.
