  • Hotel rate is $131 per night plus tax
  • Parking: On-site garage parking is $10 per day
  • Any cancellations after February 10, 2025, will forfeit the one-night deposit
  • Free shuttle to/from Reagan Airport (DCA)

The hotel overlooks Arlington National Cemetery and is right near Henderson Hall and the Fort Myer Exchange. 

Hotel Shuttle Information – No signup required. Times can vary slightly based on traffic. To: DCA/Reagan International Airport – Depart hotel 6am to 9am every 30 minutes. 9am to 11am once every hour at the top of the hour. Stops: Terminal 1 Main Entrance, Terminal 2 Doors 4 & 7. To the Pentagon City Mall/Metro Station – Depart hotel 9:30am – 9:30pm once an hour at the bottom of the hour. Departing Metro/Mall in front of Ritz Carlton – 9:45am to 9:45pm once an hour at the 3/4 of an hour (45).

2025 MCL National Mid-Winter Conference Uniform Of The Day (UOD):

All MCL uniforms stated are ‘suggested’ attire and is not required for wear; no MCL members will be denied access if they are not wearing the ‘suggested’ MCL uniform; however, ALL MCL members in good standing will wear the MCL cover and proper conference credentials to gain access to any MCL business meetings.

  • Thursday national board of trustees meeting and Commandants Council – MCL cover (required); MCL polo shirts or detachment shirts are ‘suggested’ for wear.
  • Friday Joint Opening Session and Memorial Service – MCL cover (required); the MCL Casual Dress (red blazer) uniform is ‘suggested.’ The balance of the day, the MCL Undress uniform; or, MCL or detachment shirts are ‘suggested’ for wear.
  • Saturday business meetings – MCL cover (required); the MCL Undress uniform; or, MCL or detachment shirts are ‘suggested’ for wear.
  • Saturday social, reception, and banquet – (black-tie event) MCL Evening Dress, MCL Formal Dress, or black-tie/formal attire is ‘suggested’ for wear. MCL covers are not to be worn for this event.

Wednesday arrivals begin

Thursday some committee and board meetings, stores open in the afternoon

Friday general session

Saturday general session, evening banquet (black tie or coat and tie appropriate)

Annual Four Chaplains Award Ceremony @ St. Stephen’s Church

The annual Four Chaplains Award Ceremony will be on March 8th at 11:00 am.
 
The Uniform of the Day will be the MCL Casual Uniform (Red Blazer with MCL pocket crest, black tie, black trousers and MCL cover). As a reminder, the Sun Bursts collar emblems are NOT worn with this uniform. 
 
There will be a reception preceding the event which is also the muster point. The reception will be in the basement beneath the church. Entry into the basement is via the church assembly area. It is advised that you arrive no later than 1000 hours. 
 
Anyone that would like to nominate a candidate, please download the nomination form. 
 
Nominations must be submitted no later than February 9, 2025.

2025 Leadership School

We are pleased to announce that the Department of New Jersey will assemble its 23rd Annual Leadership School to be held on Saturday, 22 March 2025. This year we will be following a new format whereas the course materials are to be downloaded from the Department website prior to attending the class. The materials will be under the Leadership School Tab. It is advisable to bring your laptop/tablet for reference.

The course will be conducted at the NJ National Guard Training Center in Sea Girt, NJ and will begin at 0800 and conclude at approximately 1600.

Our course outlines and curriculum will facilitate a greater understanding and working knowledge for the attendees while covering general and operational aspects of the Marine
Corps League and its members.

It is strongly encouraged and recommended that all newly elected and or appointed officers attend. The deadline for application is Friday, 7 March 2025.

The Cohort will be limited to 40 members. Should an opening become available, accommodations will be made on a first come first served basis.

It is advisable to register early as the class fills up quickly.

The cost is $40.00 and is Non-Refundable upon commitment.
