The Cape-Atlantic Detachment of the Marine Corps League will host its 16th Annual Golf Outing on May 17, 2026, at Ron Jaworski’s Blue Heron Pines Golf Club in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey. The event raises funds to support South Jersey veterans while honoring their service and sacrifices.
Golfers will begin the day with sign-in from 7:00 a.m. to 7:50 a.m., followed by an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start. The tournament will be played in a scramble format, with prizes awarded to the 1st Place Men’s and Women’s Teams, along with trophies for closest to the pin, longest drive, and straightest drive.
Participants will enjoy a full day of activities and hospitality, including continental breakfast with beer and soda, bottled water at the start and turn, and a backyard BBQ lunch following the outing. Guests who wish to attend only the luncheon can join the event at 1:00 p.m. for $30.
A highlight of the outing will be a hole-in-one contest on a selected par-3 hole, where the first golfer to make an ace will win a brand-new Chevrolet courtesy of Bennett Chevrolet. The event will also feature a chance auction with prizes such as dinners for two, baskets of cheer, and golf foursomes, along with a 50/50 raffle.
Registration is $175 per golfer, and businesses or supporters can participate through $100 hole sponsorships. Trophies for the event are being provided courtesy of Action Uniform.
Organizers encourage community members, golfers, and local businesses to participate and help support programs benefiting veterans throughout South Jersey.
Payments must be submitted by May 8, 2026, and checks should be made payable to MCL 194 Golf and mailed to P.O. Box 118, Absecon, NJ 08201. For more information, visit www.capeatlanticmcl.org or call 609-517-6466.
