Monday Joint Opening Session – MCL Casual Red Blazer uniform (suggested), MCL cover required.
Monday afternoon business session – MCL Undress uniform (suggested) or polo shirt, MCL cover required.
Tuesday business session – MCL Undress uniform (suggested) or polo shirt, MCL cover required.
Wednesday – casual wear
Thursday business session – MCL undress uniform (suggested) or polo shirt, MCL cover required.
Friday business session – MCL undress uniform (suggested) or polo shirt, MCL cover required.
Friday Formal Reception / Grand Banquet – (Black Tie) MCL Evening Dress, MCL Formal Dress, or Black Tie (suggested), no MCL covers.
The MCL uniforms stated are the ‘suggested’ uniforms. With the exception of the MCL cover, any credentialed member in good standing will not be refused access to the business meetings if they are not wearing the suggested MCL uniform. MCL covers are required for wear during all business meetings of the convention.

Online registration is now available for the Department of New Jersey 22nd Annual Leadership School to be held on Saturday, 14 March 2026. This year we will be following a new format whereas the course materials are to be downloaded from the Department website prior to attending the class. The materials will be under the Leadership School Tab. It is advisable to bring your laptop/tablet for reference.
The course will be conducted at the NJ National Guard Training Center in Sea Girt, NJ and will begin at 0800 and conclude at approximately 1630.
Our course outlines and curriculum will facilitate a greater understanding and working knowledge for the attendees while covering general and operational aspects of the Marine
Corps League and its members.
It is strongly encouraged and recommended that all newly elected and or appointed officers attend. The deadline for application is Friday, 6 March 2026.
The Cohort will be limited to 40 members. Should an opening become available, accommodations will be made on a first come first served basis.
It is advisable to register early as the class fills up quickly.
The cost is $40.00 and is Non-Refundable upon commitment.

The 2026 Northeast Division Conference will feature Division business sessions, leadership development programming, and concurrent breakout discussions designed to strengthen Detachments and Departments across the Northeast. Early registration is encouraged to assist with planning and space allocation.

Our next Four Chaplains Award Ceremony will be held on June 20th at 10:00 am.
The annual Father Washington – Four Chaplains Award Ceremony is being hosted by Father Washington’s parish, St. Stephen’s Church, located at 141 Washington Avenue in Kearny (corner of Kearny Ave and Washington Ave).
If you haven’t seen the Four Chaplains Award Ceremony, it’s worth coming to support the winners and learn more about the program.
This is a great opportunity to recognize those in our community who do so much to help others!
